Sebastian’s fingers fly across the keyboard, making the cursor dance in a perfect spiral. The monitor glows blue, reflecting his wide eyes as he saves the final file for the big Computer Fair.
He plugs in his portable display stand and presses the power button with a triumphant grin. A soft hum vibrates through the desk, but the screen stays stubbornly black despite his frantic tapping.
Sebastian checks the cable connections three times, pulling them out and plugging them back in with increasing urgency. The room smells of ozone and heated plastic, but the display remains dark.
Suddenly, the screen flares to life with a chaotic burst of neon colors that spill onto the floor like liquid paint. Sebastian gasps, watching the digital art crawl off the monitor and swirl around his sneakers.
He grabs a USB drive shaped like a rocket and slots it into the port, causing the swirling lights to freeze into a static image. The fair begins, and Sebastian shares his glowing creation with everyone who walks by.
Crowds gather around the booth, pointing at the swirling patterns trapped inside the glass screen. Sebastian explains how he fixed the glitch, his voice steady and clear.
An older judge nods approvingly, adjusting his glasses as he studies the intricate code scrolling on the side panel. The young boy waits, holding his breath.
The judge smiles and shakes the young boy's hand. First place goes to the most creative solution, and Sebastian’s rocket drive becomes the star of the show.
