Sienna found her birthday card.
She opened the cupboard door.
She held the candle close.
She set it on the table.
Sienna blew out the candle.
The kitchen went dark. Then voices said, Happy birthday!
The candle glowed again. Everyone hummed the birthday song.
Sienna smiled and took a bite of cake.
The room buzzed with laughter.
Sienna looked at her family.
She hummed along with them.
It was a good birthday.
