Sofi pours red vinegar into the clay volcano cup. Cata Z holds a spoon of baking soda ready to drop.
Cata Z drops the powder in. The mixture fizzes loudly and spills over Sofi’s shoes. Sofi gasps and jumps back from the sticky mess.
Sofi tries to clean it with a paper towel. The towel turns bright pink and sticks to her fingers. She peels it off slowly, making a squeaky sound.
Sofi adds more baking soda and vinegar at once. A giant purple foam mountain erupts instantly.
It covers the whole table and plops onto Sofi’s head like a hat.
Sofi looks at Cata Z with foam in her hair. They both start laughing until their tummies hurt.
