On the sandy ocean floor, a shell glowed like captured sunlight. The sea sponge waddled closer.
He reached out and picked it up. *Pop!* His body stretched and wiggled into a long green snake with yellow spots!
He tried to walk. His snake body just slid across the sand. *Slither, slap. Slither, slap.*
He bumped a rock. He bumped a starfish. She kept eating her snack without looking up.
Spongebob looked up. The sandy shoreline was right above him! He started climbing.
He slithered over coral, around rocks, and past a jellyfish. "Nice snake!" it buzzed.
He reached the shallow water. The golden-orange sky wrapped around him like a blanket.
He took a deep breath, puffed out his chest, and sang the most joyful sunset song anyone had ever heard. *La-la-LAAA!*
The sound bounced off the water and dove right down into the sea.
Every fish, crab, and eel popped up from below, cheering and clapping their fins!
Spongebob wiggled in the shallows. His yellow spots sparkled in the last light.
He sang one more note. All the bubbles danced.
