Mossy wiggles across the sunny preschool garden. Bump! The story-page basket tips over.
WHOOSH! Pages fly over flowers and leafy paths toward the reading corner. “My story!” squeaks Mossy.
Mossy chases the pages past a friendly brown bear and exactly three pink flowers. One page skitters ahead.
Mossy gathers one page. A gust lifts it onto a broad leaf. BOING! The leaf springs beneath the paper.
Mossy climbs after the page, carrying a flower petal as a flag. The petal tickles the antennae. “Hee-hee!”
At the reading corner, Mossy spots pages scattered everywhere. “There you are!”
Mossy pushes the pages into a pile beside the friendly brown bear. A page pops up and lands on the bear’s nose.
“Achoo!” The bear sneezes, and pages flutter around the rug. Mossy laughs and starts arranging pictures.
Mossy slides the last page into place. The pictures now make a story from beginning to end.
Mossy tells the story aloud to the friendly brown bear. The bear claps as exactly three pink flowers bob in the breeze.
