Behind the weathered barn, Sunny spotted something strange. A crooked wooden gate half-hidden by ivy.
Sunny gave the gate a curious tap with her beak. It creaked open — and she stepped inside.
Her feet sank into soft moss. Tickling! A stained-glass butterfly fluttered past.
Sunny chased the butterfly across a winding path of smooth stones. She pecked at a dandelion — whoosh! Golden seeds flew everywhere.
The butterfly led her to a patch of tiny flowers that giggled when she passed.
Suddenly — a dozen butterflies swirled around her in a sparkling circle. Sunny froze.
One butterfly landed on her comb and tapped her beak with its foot. Then it fluttered toward some glowing flowers.
Sunny waddled over and nibbled a soft moonflower petal. It was delicious!
She hopped back to the gate, gave one last look, and clucked happily. The ivy began to close behind her.
The next morning, Sunny waited by the barn, waiting to share her secret.
