In the cozy garden, Sam spotted a little teddy bear beneath the shady tree. Sam knelt beside it and asked, “Are you lost?”
The little bear nodded. Plop! A leaf landed on its head, and Sam reached for its paw.
Tiny paw prints led along the winding path. They crossed soft soil, slipped beneath bright flowers, and disappeared beside a watering can.
“Oh!” Sam looked left, then right. The garden was full of hiding places.
Sam searched under the watering can, behind a flowerpot, and around a bush. A breeze shook the petals, revealing one more paw print.
The print pointed toward a tiny teddy bear house. Sam and the little bear hurried after it.
Squeak! The garden gate swung shut. Sam pushed while the little bear pulled, and together they opened it just wide enough.
The little bear’s family opened the round red door. Hugs, smiles, and happy voices welcomed both travelers inside.
