Pip raced beneath the evergreen trees. Then a tiny rainbow key dropped from the sky toward a bed of bright flowers.
Pip snatched the key before it touched the flowers. Nearby butterflies fluttered toward a friendly tree with a little door.
Pip fitted the key into the tree’s door. The door squeaked, popped open a crack, and blasted out glittery pollen. “Achoo!”
The key rolled toward the mountains. Pip dashed after it over flower petals, beneath fluttering butterflies, and across a rainbow-colored path.
Each time Pip reached for it, the key bounced farther. At last, it landed on a sleepy cloud above the forest.
Pip climbed a curling rainbow toward the cloud. The rainbow wiggled like a slide, and Pip zoomed down with a loud, “Whoosh!”
Pip landed softly in the flowers. The tree’s door stood open wide, and the rainbow key was gone from Pip’s paw.
Pip stepped inside the friendly tree. A glowing rainbow room shimmered with tiny painted stars.
Pip turned the rainbow key in the golden box. Click! A rainbow burst through the windows and lit the forest from flowers to mountain peaks.
Pip carried the golden box to the doorway. Above the evergreen trees, the rainbow shone all the way to the mountains.
Pip curled up beneath the friendly tree. Butterflies danced nearby as the magical forest glowed until sunset.
The last sunlight touched the mountains. Under the friendly tree, the rainbow light kept sparkling.
