brave, curious, cheerful

bravery and the joy of discovery

Milan and Majd squeeze through the garden gate and stop. A rainbow arcs from the flowerbed to the old oak. Milan reaches out — his fingers tickle the pink edge — and the rainbow dips lower.

Milan and Majd step onto the rainbow and it carries them into a forest where mushrooms glow blue and purple.

A bunny with a dandelion fluff tail hops onto a stump, taps its foot twice, and points its nose toward the trees. "Follow me," it squeaks.

The bunny leads them to a clearing where four treasures rest on moss: a feather that changes color, a stone that hums, a shell that smells like rain, and an acorn that glows gold.

Milan picks up the acorn and it ticks like a watch. Majd grabs the humming stone — it vibrates so hard it bounces out of his hands.

The bunny hops to the edge of a rushing silver stream and stops dead. The fallen-log bridge is gone, swept away.

The acorn in Milan's hand grows warmer, then lifts off his palm and floats upward, pulsing with bright golden light.

Milan grabs the floating acorn, the bunny hops on, and it carries them gently across the stream.

Majd laughs with his mouth wide open as the rainbow reappears ahead, glowing brighter, leading them straight back through the fence.

They squeeze back through the garden gate, and the rainbow fades into the warm afternoon air.

They stand in the flowerbed and look at the old oak. Nothing seems different — except the acorn is gone from Milan's pocket.

Milan touches the gate — and for just a second, it feels like someone is tapping his shoulder from the other side.
