Brami rolls out of his burrow and stretches himself long. A question keeps circling in his head: "Where is the secret of happiness hiding?"
Deep in the green forest. Tall beech trees, mossy stones, dappled light on the ground.
Claws sunk deep into the rough bark, he climbs the beech trunk. Higher and higher. Further and further.
At the top: nothing but green canopies, more trees, more forest. He thinks, "There's nothing here!"
He slides down the trunk – plop – and lands all muddy at the stream's edge.
Splash! He charges through the clear water, branches slapping against his back.
On the far bank, he stands dripping wet on the pebbles. The water trickles on, soft and quiet.
He settles onto a sun-warm stone. The light tickles over his paws. He closes his eyes.
