BOOM! A giant storm cloud dropped from the sky. Colorful rooftops and paper trees wobbled below.
The Tiny Giant grabbed a bright yellow flag and waved it high. WHOOSH! The wind snatched it away toward the hills. “I’m too small,” The Tiny Giant whispered.
Rain poured through the streets like silver ropes. The Tiny Giant squeezed beneath a tiny door and found a glowing tunnel under the pavement.
Thunder rumbled overhead. The Tiny Giant followed twisting arrows through the tunnel, then squeezed through a crack too small for anything else.
Pop! The Tiny Giant emerged beside a tall hill. Behind hanging vines, a safe cave waited in the quiet shadows.
Lightning split the sky. A rushing wave swept toward the town, so The Tiny Giant climbed the hill and tied the yellow flag to a bent sign.
The flag pointed toward the cave. The Tiny Giant waved it from the highest tiny spot and called, “This way!”
The storm roared closer. The Tiny Giant raced through the tunnel, calling, “This way!”
The Tiny Giant reached the cave just before the wave whooshed past. Then the runaway flag flapped in and landed like a hat.
Rain stopped. Sunlight painted the puddles gold as The Tiny Giant stepped outside and guided the town through sparkling streets.
