Numberblock 2 pats the bicycle’s back. “Numberblock 1, hop on!”
Numberblock 1 climbs onto the rear seat. Ding-ding! The bicycle rolls onto the sunny path.
Flowers bob beside the sidewalk. Numberblock 1 counts, “One, two, three!”
A tall flower pops up and tickles Numberblock 1’s nose. “Achoo!”
The path rises into a little hill. The bicycle slows beside the bobbing flowers.
“One, two, three!” they call together. The wheels crunch over tiny pebbles.
At the top, a butterfly flutters across the path. Squeak! Numberblock 2 brakes.
The bicycle wobbles, then rolls backward. One, two, three, four, five, six steps!
They laugh and pedal forward again. The hilltop path opens toward the park.
“Seven, eight, nine, ten!” they count as the park gates come near.
Friends cheer at the park. Ding-ding! The bicycle bell rings again.
Numberblock 2 parks beside the path. Everyone gathers to count and ride together.
