Wally zoomed toward the winding roller coaster tracks. His bright wings shimmered in the summer sun.
Two friends gasped and ducked behind a cotton candy cart. "A wasp on a ride!" they whispered.
The train screeched and rumbled past. Wally clung to the front car, wings flapping furiously.
The train clattered to a stop. Wally hopped off and buzzed happily at his friends.
"Want a ride?" he buzzed. They crawled out and stared at the roller coaster.
They looked at the ride. Then they looked at each other.
And nodded. Three friends zoomed toward the tracks.
The roller coaster climbed. The wind roared. And the afternoon belonged to them.
