Zola stood inside her rocket when a glowing letter A tumbled through the open hatch. It landed on her control panel. She gasped and reached for it — but it floated right up and stuck to her helmet visor, shimmering toward a nearby planet.
Zola's eyes went wide. The letter pointed toward the planet, shimmering. She pressed the launch button with a grin, and her rocket zoomed toward the stars.
Zola landed on a stardust planet where giant glowing letters lay scattered across the ground. She reached for the letter B, but it bounced away like a rubber ball.
The letter B bounced past a sleeping comet with a soft boing. Zola giggled and chased after it, her boots thumping on the dusty ground.
Zola followed the bouncing B to a ringed planet where the rings were made of spinning letters. She reached for the letter S, and it shifted shapes — spiral, then snake, then star.
The letter S finally settled into a twinkling star shape. Zola watched in wonder and brushed her fingers against its warm light.
All the letters Zola collected floated around her rocket, forming a giant alphabet in the sky. But the last letter Z was missing.
Zola searched everywhere — inside the rocket, under her boots, in the stardust. Then a tiny zephyr creature made of stardust appeared and whispered Z into her ear.
Zola's eyes widened with delight. She realized the universe was spelling out its secrets — one letter at a time.
Zola climbed back into her rocket with all the letters glowing around her. She pressed the launch button, and the letters arranged themselves into a rainbow trail across the sky.
