The toy shop door swung open with a loud JINGLE. Leo stepped inside.
Leo turned around. His mom was nowhere to be seen.
He remembered what his mom had said: find someone in blue. Go to the lost-and-found desk.
Leo spotted a tall man in a blue uniform. He walked right up to him.
The guard crouched down. 'I can help you find your mom,' he said.
Leo reached out and held the guard's hand. Together they walked forward.
Suddenly, a blue robot mascot blinked its eyes. 'Have you tried the lost-and-found desk?' it said in a loud mechanical voice.
Leo jumped back and covered his ears. Nobody else noticed the robot at all.
The guard kept walking. 'Almost there,' he said.
They reached the lost-and-found desk. And then Leo saw her — his mom, running around the corner.
Leo ran to her. She picked him up and held him very tight.
Leo and his mom walked out of the mall, holding hands. Their sneakers squeaked with every step.
