The bathroom light glowed like a tiny sun. Leo stood on a stool, watching his dad in the mirror.
His dad's toothbrush whirred. Foamy bubbles covered his teeth like clouds. Leo pressed his nose to the glass. 'How do your teeth get so shiny?'
Mom appeared behind Leo with the rocket toothbrush. 'Ready for a mission, Captain Leo?' She flipped the light switch — click!
The toothbrush hummed like a tiny engine. Leo's eyes went wide as saucers. Mom tapped the bristles against his palm. 'Listen to that engine roar!'
Mom swept the brush side to side. 'Sugar bugs! Scram!' She polished one side, then the other. Leo giggled and covered his mouth with both hands.
Now it was Leo's turn. He grabbed his own toothbrush and marched to the sink. Left sweep, right sweep — he was a brushing机器!
He swept left, swept right, polished until his reflection showed a mouth full of foam stars. Leo blew a bubble — it wobbled and popped on his nose.
Leo grinned at the mirror. His teeth sparkled like little pearls. He pressed his cheek against the cool glass. 'My smile is strong.'
