The forest is covered in thick mist. Brainy walks carefully and pushes aside a large thorny bush.
Suddenly, a huge black shadow blocks the path! Two big yellow eyes shine in the fog.
Brainy jumps back quickly. Very brave but worried, she grips the straps of her backpack tightly.
The shadow lets out a terrible growl. The monster raises a clawed paw and cracks the dead branches loudly!
At the same moment, far away in the castle courtyard, Brainy's faithful unicorn scratches the cold cobblestones.
Beep! Beep! The little stone blinks red at lightning speed. The unicorn neighs, spreads its sparkling wings, and takes off!
In the forest, the monster leans over Brainy... when a rainbow lightning bolt streaks through the clouds and strikes the giant shadow!
"Poof!" The terrible black silhouette bursts into a joyful cloud of tickly little moths.
Relieved, Brainy drops her backpack on the ground, runs towards the dazzling light, and buries her face in the soft neck of the unicorn.
"You heard my signal! That's great!" says the little girl, tapping the warm nose of the magical creature.
Brainy climbs onto the back of her best friend to soar into the sky. The night wind whistles so pleasantly in their ears!
The castle flags finally appear. They land softly in the honor courtyard, eager to share their midnight snack!
